Windows 7 Overview

Microsoft Windows 7 (originally known by the codename "Vienna") is the next major version of Microsoft Windows^TM and is due for release in either 2009 or 2010. Windows 7 is the highly-anticipated successor to Windows Vista, and promises a number of innovative, new features along with some much-needed improvements to the general Windows UI paradigm.
